# Exporting Reports and Typical Details

> Export PDF calculation reports with your company logo, and download typical connection details in DWG, Revit and PDF.

The Hub produces two different kinds of output: the calculation report for your submission, and the typical detail for your drawings.

## Calculation reports

Export any sheet as a PDF in one of two depths.

| Report         | Contains                                                                          | Use it for                                          |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Summary        | Inputs, connection diagram, governing utilisation per limit state group           | Design team review, coordination, early issue       |
| Fully detailed | Everything above plus every equation, substituted value and code clause reference | Permit submissions, checker review, project records |

### Adding your company logo

You can insert your company logo into the report header. Set it once at account or project level and it applies to every report exported from that project, so the pack you issue is branded consistently.

  Fill in the project reference details when you create the project. Job number, client and location pull straight through to the report header, and retrofitting them across a finished pack is tedious.

## Typical details

The detail library sits alongside the calculators and covers more than 40 connection types across shear, moment, splice, truss, bracing and base plate families, including splice connection details and unique brace connection details.

Each detail downloads in three formats.

| Format      | Use it for                                    |
| ----------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| DWG         | Dropping straight into an AutoCAD drawing set |
| Revit (RVT) | Placing into a Revit model                    |
| PDF         | Markups, RFIs and issue                       |

## A sensible workflow

1. Run the connection in the calculator until utilisation is acceptable.
2. Export the fully detailed PDF for your records and the summary PDF for circulation.
3. Download the matching typical detail in DWG or Revit.
4. Adjust the detail to match the geometry you actually designed. The library detail is a starting point, not the designed connection.

  The typical details are generic. They are not automatically driven by your calculator inputs. Always reconcile plate sizes, bolt layout, weld sizes and cope dimensions against your calculation before issuing.
