# Continuing Education & Webinar Certificates

> How Calcs.com learning materials, webinars, and certificates of completion can support continuing education requirements for engineers in the United States and Australia, and architects in the United States.

Calcs.com offers a range of learning materials on structural design that can be helpful for both engineers and architects. These materials may also contribute toward continuing education requirements in many jurisdictions.

## Learning materials we offer

Our structural design learning resources include:

* **Training materials** for using our product, available in written or recorded video format.

* **Interviews** with experts or power users sharing best practices on structural design projects.

## Certificates of completion

We offer certificates of completion for **all of our webinars**. Each certificate includes:

* The name of the webinar
* The webinar duration
* The instructor's name

Certificates are provided to all attendees and are also available on request. You can use these certificates as verification records to contribute toward qualifying activities for continuing education.

## Continuing education requirements

### Engineers in the United States

In the United States, continuing education requirements for Professional Engineer (P.E.) license renewal vary from state to state. We strongly recommend that individuals regularly check the state registration board(s) for their specific continuing education requirements that affect P.E. licensure and the ability to renew licensure.

Where accepted, Calcs.com webinars and training materials may contribute toward Professional Development Hours (PDHs) or equivalent qualifying activities, depending on your state's rules.

### Engineers in Australia

In Australia, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements for engineers vary depending on:

* The state or territory where you are registered (for example, Queensland's RPEQ scheme or Victoria's registration scheme), and
* Your professional body membership (for example, Engineers Australia's Chartered status).

Calcs.com webinars, training videos, and expert interviews can typically be logged as informal or structured CPD activities, subject to the rules of your registration body or professional association. We recommend reviewing the CPD policy of your specific board or association to confirm how Calcs.com learning activities should be recorded.

### Architects in the United States

In the United States, continuing education requirements for architects also vary by state licensing board, and many states align their requirements with the AIA Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) or NCARB guidelines. Requirements typically include a minimum number of Learning Units (LUs), often with a portion dedicated to Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) topics.

Calcs.com webinars on structural design topics may be relevant to HSW-related learning. As with engineers, we recommend that architects regularly check their state board's requirements and confirm whether self-reported structural design webinars are accepted toward their continuing education obligations.
