# Make a User an Administrator

> Promote an existing user to account administrator.

You can have more than one account administrator. Only an account administrator can promote another user.

1. Go to [your users page](https://calcs.com/users).
2. Find the user you want to promote.
3. Open the **Actions** panel for that user and choose **Promote**.

The user now has administrator permissions. See [Understand User and Administrator Permissions](/docs/settings/organization-settings/manage-users/user-permissions) for what that includes.
