# Troubleshooting

> Error messages, calculations behaving unexpectedly, display problems, and how to get help from us.

When something is not working, start here rather than hunting through the calculator guides.

**Error messages** lists the errors Calcs.com shows you and what each one actually means. **Calculation not behaving** is for the harder case where nothing errors but the numbers are not what you expect. **Display and performance** covers zoom, layout, slow loading and browser oddities.

If none of it helps, the support pages tell you how to ask for a new calculator, request a feature, request a custom section, and, most usefully, exactly what to send us so we can answer on the first reply instead of the third.
