The role

As Head of Marketing, you’ll own the marketing function end-to-end. You’ll combine strategy and execution to drive demand, accelerate adoption, and build Calcs.com into the default platform engineers use every day. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO, with the opportunity to shape a marketing organization from the ground up and grow into VP/CMO as the company scales.

You won’t be starting from zero. You’ll partner closely with our product-led SMB Marketing Manager and incoming Lifecycle MarketingManager, and work cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Sales to maximize impact across both PLG and enterprise growth motions.

What you'll do

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and own the marketing strategy across both product-led growth and enterprise motions.
  • Partner with sales and product leadership to align marketing with business growth objectives.
  • Position Calcs.com as a category leader through compelling messaging and thought leadership.

Growth & Demand Generation

  • Oversee demand generation programs that fuel both self-serve trials and enterprise pipeline while contributing hands-on to priority campaigns in near term.
  • Scale growth levers such as webinars, lifecycle marketing, SEO, and educational content.
  • Guide the launch of account-based marketing programs, collaborating with sales and enterprise leads to support complex deals.

Brand & Storytelling

  • Elevate Calcs.com’s brand by championing our mission and showcasing customer impact.
  • Direct the development of case studies, customer success stories, and thought leadership content, rolling up your sleeves where needed.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing marketing team (initially lifecycle and enterprise marketers).
  • Mentor existing talent and create a culture of creativity, accountability, and measurable impact.
  • Manage budget and resources to maximize ROI and fuel sustainable growth.

What we're looking for

Required qualifications

  • 6–10 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with demonstrated impact on revenue growth.
  • Proven track record of running successful demand generation and lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Strong product marketing skills: positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation.
  • Hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing performance.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills—able to influence at every level.

Preferred qualifications

  • Exposure to dual-motion go-to-market models (PLG + enterprise).
  • Experience scaling SaaS companies from early stage ($2–5M ARR) through rapid growth.
  • Comfort leading at industry events, webinars, and thought leadership platforms.
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles (ABM, events, sales enablement).
  • Familiarity with engineering, construction, or technical software industries (a plus, not a must).
